Golden Rose's previous reliance on boutique partners for product photography led to poor image quality, inaccurate colors, inconsistent showcasing, and boutique disparities, harming the brand's reputation, consumer interest, and sales.
Quality
The reliance on boutique partners to photograph their collections resulted in low-quality images due to lack of photography experience. The images were often out of focus, poorly lit, and taken in environments that failed to engage the target audience.
Size
Lack of proper product showcasing led to confusion about shirt sizes and fit. Consumers were often disappointed when the actual product didn’t match their expectations based on the images
Color
The poor image quality led to inaccurate representations of the shirts’ colors, both in terms of the materials and the graphics. Inconsistencies in color representation across different boutiques further hurt Golden Rose’s brand image.
Brand
Quality, color, and size issues combined to damage Golden Rose’s brand reputation. Lower consumer interest led to reduced sales and hesitancy among boutiques to purchase Golden Rose’s merchandise.

Concept.
Understanding the target audience helped establish an art direction in photography, defining locations, models, lighting, and editing style.

Selecting a studio with 6 scenes, creating a shot list, providing models with a reference sheet, and setting up a real-time image review system for the client.
Shoot
Focusing on perfect in-camera shots through controlled lighting and controlled environemtn, and using a shot list to ensure diversity and efficiency.
Edit.
Advanced software to speed up the workflow, reducing post-production from 9 days to 3 business days. This included color correction, cropping, exporting, and uploading.
Review.
Client was able to review images in real time during photo shoot, but only had a minor revision requests on a small number of images.
Revisions.
Minor edit revisions and even requested additional images.
Delivery.
High-resolution, approved images were delivered to the client via a cloud storage service.
